Familial GIST Research
The Life Raft Group is cooperating in a research study with some of the top GIST specialty centers in the country. The study is being coordinated by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Oregon Health & Science University. The goal is to identify potential familial GIST families and direct them to the assets provided by these institutions.
If you or anyone in your family suspects that their GIST might be familial, please contact the Project FLAG study or Life Raft Group for further information.
